Why can't I post to the recipe swap?

Who is Joe?

bulletJoe was the founder and president of The Ames Company, Inc. He was a very nice guy, and a master chef. Joe Passed away in the Spring of 2008, and his sons are now carrying on the business.

Can I buy the special ingredients I see on the recipe swap?

Somebody is posting messages under my name . . . can I stop this?

bulletYou can set up a profile. Once you have created a profile, nobody else can post under the name you choose.

I paid for 2 Day shipping,  but it took a week to get here!

bulletWhen you choose to expedite shipping, the indicated number of days starts from the time the order is processed, not from the time you place the order. For example, if you choose 2nd Day shipping on 10 pounds of marinade and there is a posted 1 week delay on order prcessing, you will receive your shipment about 1 week plus  2 days later. This still gets the product to you faster, since the time in transit is still just 2 days, where it may normally take a week after it leaves our facility.

How do I set up a profile?

What kind of HTML will the messages accept--can I put in a link or image?

bulletThe messages will accept most common HTML code, so you're free to use some trial and error.  Codes like <i> for italics and <b> for bold work, but some things like <blink> do not.
bulletThere is a separate form field for image URLs and a single hyperlink, but URLs will automatically turn into live hyperlinks in the text of messages.
bulletLine breaks will look the same as what you post - no need to double space!

What does "views" mean?

bulletThis is the number of times that an individual message has been read.

Should I accept a cookie from Joe's Place?

What does (NT) mean?

bulletThis stands for "no text", and simply means that the subject line is the whole message, so you don't need to open it. 

This saves time when opening articles that contain no comments.

What does tried and true mean?

bulletTried and true means that the recipe has been prepared by the poster
and they have found it to be a good one.
