Chef Paul Kirk's Stolen Rig (Truck and Smoker)
Posted By: Henry Bacarisse

It appears that someone stole the complete working, catering and competition unit of Chef Paul Kirk.
Following is a message that is circulating on the various Barbecue Chat and Discussion groups. While many of you are on some or all of them, some may not check the messages daily.

Subject: [BBQ] stolen pit in Kansas
Can you believe that someone had the audacity to steal a Klose smoker in the Kansas City area, along with the van to which it was still hitched, from the owner's own driveway? Chef PAUL KIRK'S custom-made Klose??? Sheesh...
His description of his smoker and his van are here.

His phone number is further up in the same thread, should anyone happen to spot the van and/or cooker somewhere. I hadn't seen this mentioned here yet, so thought I'd pass it along for KC area folks that may not have seen it elsewhere.

I added:
It may be the unit shown on Dave Klose's site:

I have written to Paul to see it that is the current unit he is using.
