Gluten Free Sausage?

Does anyone know if there is a way to make Italian, Brats, or simply breakfast
sausage without any form of Gluten? My son is Gluten intolerant (Celiacs Disease) and is very allergic to it. Problem is, we all like sausage, but haven't been able to eat it lately.
I've heard that most sausages/cures have some form of gluten in them (MSG inlcuded) and would sure appreciate any recipes anyone may have.
