I have been researching this spice for sometime and have narrowed it down to a member of the cress family. The seeds are tricky to harvest. The local butcher shop makes sausage and Keilbasa with the seeds. The seed pods are round and flat, about the size of a quarter. To harvest, you need a small fan and a deep container. With the fan behind the container crumble the pod very gentely in front of the fan (fan on low), the seeds will blow into the container and the pod will drop. Pod is heavier than the seeds... This is why a pint jar of them sells for $20.

Koleeties plant is basically a weed and grows in various places. email me if interested, I will cladly mail you some seeds to plant.

Hope this helps.

John
