"Modern Cure" info

I recently purchased some spices from an American online company (myspicer.com), and since I live in Canada where curing agents such as TenderQuick are either unavailable or hard to find, I purchased a good quantity of their product labelled 'Modern Cure'. I thought this would be a 'clone' or substitute for TQ, but then I compare labels and see that the Modern Cure is loaded (6.2%) with sodium nitrates. Has anyone used this product before, or better yet, have a ratio to use it in recipes calling for TQ for Prague Powder?
Thanks for any feedback,
Qfan
