Need 4th of July recipes and ideas...

I will be home alone with the kids on the 4th,and would like some really fun 4th of July recipes or ideas to make the holiday fun for a 6 year old who will miss the really big fireworks that Dad usually shoots off for him(Dad is taking 17 yer old daughter to Nsync concert) I can't shoot too many fireworks off because I will have a 19 month old baby next to me(scares me) so I want to make this holiday something different for him with fun treats and other party fun.I have asked this on family/parenting type boards and didn't get much help,so I'm counting on Joe and his followers to help me!!Please!!
