Our local newspaper has a column where you can ask a doctor medical questions. Not too long ago someone asked him about what they could do for severe constipation. He talked about a mixture that consisted of applesauce, prune juice, and the article said miller's bran. I have been unable to find miller's bran anywhere and wonder if the paper misspelled it and meant to say millet's bran. Has anybody heard of this remedy and, if so, can you tell me where I can purchase millet's bran. Also I'm no longer sure of how to make this concoction. I think he said to mix 1 cup of applesause with 1 cup of millet's bran and 1/2 cup of prune juice and then take 1 to 2 tablespoons per day.
Would appreciate any help you can give me.
