Hi, just thought you would like the biblical recipe for Ezekial Bread. It took a little time and searching on line but TADAH! I was looking for this myself when I ran across this recipe.
I watched a program on TV and a woman in Atlanta makes this bread and sells it in her coffe shop. The ingredients she used were exactly what I found here to make the flour in order to make the bread. Use the flour along with ther ingredients for a good wheat bread and you have it!
8 cups Praire Gold hard white wheat.
1/2 cup karmut
1/2 cup spelt
1/4 cup lentils
1/4 cup millet
1.2 cup of mixed beans (pinto, pink, and navy)
Grind all into a fine flour to make15 cups of flour to them\n use in bread.9 - 10 cups flour
5 1/2 cups hot water
2/3 cup honey
2/3 cup oil
1 tsp Ascorbic Acid or Citric Acid
3 tbsp Yeast
1 Tbsp Saalt
1/3 cup GlutenGrease 4 med bread pans. Put hot water in mixer with oil honey, gluten and yeast. Turn on mixer, slow, add 5 cups flour, add salt and ascorbic acid. Add flour till dough cleans the sides of bowl. Knead for 10 minutes. Oil counter, turn out dough and divide into four equal parts. Tuck under edgea and place in med. loaf pans. place pand in warm oven to rise for 35 min 0r till double in size. Bake @350 for 35 minutes till golden brown. Remove from pans an cool on rack.
