BROWN SUGAR BACON
A recipe that I LOVE. I could eat the whole pound of bacon, without any help.1 Lb Thick sliced bacon
Brown Sugar-Just put some in a fairly flat bowlPreheat oven to 400 degrees.
Cut bacon strips in half. Take bacon & pat into brown sugar, on both sides & then layout on either broiler tray (don't put aluminum foil on tray, you want grease to drip off). Or you can lay these out on cake cooling rack...sprayed with Pam). Do not overlap the bacon.
Bake bacon about 20 min. but watch it closley, once bacon starts to brown, it will burn very easily.
When bacon is done, remove from oven, take bacon off rack with tongs (will burn your fingers). Do not overlap bacon strips, will stick to each other. Lay out on serving plate but do not put napkins or paper towels on serving plate. Bacon will stick to paper, of any kind, & you will end up eating paper with your bacon.
If you have any brown sugar left over, you can put it back in container.
