CARAWAY - Suggested Amounts to Use in Various Dishes
1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon to 2 cups corn bread, waffle or biscuit mix.
1 teaspoon in 1/4 cup melted butter for vegetables.
1/2 teaspoon to 3/4 teaspoon, crushed, to 1 1/2 pounds pork.
1/4 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon to 8-ounce package noodles.
1 tablespoon to 2 tablespoons to 1 1/2 cups cheese dip.
1/4 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon for each pound sauerkraut.
1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon in one-crust pastry for cheese, onion, meat or vegetable pies.
1 teaspoon to 2 teaspoons to 3 cups potato salad
1/2 teaspoon to 1 teaspoon mixed in batter of pound cake or spice cake or sprinkled over top before baking.
1/2 teaspoon in vinegar or cream dressings for 2 cups sliced cucumbers.
